Please say “hello” to John. John, a U.S. Army Veteran, has been with Sound Community Services for over two years working as a Rehab Specialist in the Oasis Social Rehab Program.

John has served 18 years in the Army, 10 years Active Duty and 8 years Reserves with his unit being based out of Newport, Rhode Island. He spent 10 years as an 18 Delta Special Forces Medic and switched to a 68J (Medical Logistics). John is also the Non-Commission Officer in Charge of the NSSE (National Special Security Events) at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. He oversees making sure that all medical supplies are present and ready to go for events from Presidential Inauguration down to the State of the Union Address.

John states, “As a Veteran it has been a complete honor to serve my country, I pay homage to those that paved the way before me, and I will continue to make them proud. Sound Community has been such a blessing to their soldiers, we appreciate all the support they give us.”
