Allison joined Sound Community Services in October of 2020 as the Communications Manager. Prior to coming to Sound, Allison was an event planner with extensive years of experience planning weddings to corporate events and executing fundraising events. With this experience, brought a communications background as well. Allison has her Associates of Arts degree in individualize studies from the former Mount Ida College and her Bachelor of Science degree in media studies from Sacred Heart University.

Allison has been commended for bringing Sound Community Services marketing to the next level, especially with all the personal stories she shares on Sounds social media platforms to her design work promoting agency events. You often find Allison in our Social Rehab programs interacting with our clients.

Outside of Sound Community Services, Allison volunteers much of her time in the veteran community. Since 2015, Allison volunteers her time as a volunteer leader for Team Red, White, and Blue, a nationwide nonprofit which enriches the lives of our military veterans.  She was a recipient of the 2016 40 Under Forty Award in Southeastern Connecticut and the 2019 Norwich Area Veterans Council Veteran Supporter of the Year Award. If not volunteering, Allison is shopping for the next stylish shoe, spending time with her family, or being a “Dog Mom” to her dogs.
