Core Values Worth Fighting For

The agency’s strategic plan has prioritized a revision of the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in an effort to communicate clarity of expectations and to convey where the agency is headed. The Strategic Planning Committee met over several months to create the new agency Core Values which embody statements that we want to live by in all the work that we do. Errol Maurice and Lisa Moon were tasked with developing this initiative and are the chairs of the implementation team.

In the spirit of implementing our new Core Values, the agency has formed a committee of Ambassadors to lead us in building our Operational Health. The goals of this initiative are to improve our service delivery and outcomes while continuing to build a culture of kindness. Improving colleague relations through healthy integration will be at the forefront. We are excited to roll out these upcoming initiatives, communicating clarity, which will pave the way in defining a clear path for the future of our agency.

Our Core Values will be embedded into the fabric of all that we do within team meetings, committees, performance evaluations, supervisions, and daily operations. Our Core Values will become the language that we speak and will be the new expectation that we all hold ourselves accountable to.
