Please say “hello” to Daoud! Dauod is one of Sound Community Services clients who is in recovery for substance abuse. Like so many, he has goals to achieve! Most importantly is his recovery, but he has other goals to conquer as well. Daoud will be graduating with his high school diploma from New London Adult Education in December and he is also in the process of applying to Three Rivers Community College to become a Case Manager. He wants to help others, just like the Case Managers who have helped him get back on his feet. Dauod states, “it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, all that matters is if you pick yourself back up.” Dauod is picking himself back up like so many other of our clients and we are cheering them on all the way!
