Please say “hello” to Max! Max has been with Sound Community Services for a little over 2 years and is our Controller in our Fiscal Department. Our Fiscal Department, part of our Operations Team, has a very important role within our agency. Max states, “The Fiscal Department is tasked with all things financially related. We create budgets for each of our 18 or so programs and make sure expenses and employee salaries are properly allocated to those programs. We research new creative financing opportunities for program growth, and analyze third party revenue trends, but most importantly, we support our staff who support our clients.”
In the spirit of implementing our new Core Values, our agency has formed a committee of Ambassadors to lead us in building our Operational Health. Max, a Core Values Ambassador, has been a huge asset to our Core Values rollout. Max states, “I joined Sound because I wanted to be a part of a team that did more than just look out for its own self interests. It was clear from day one that the employees here care so deeply for the clients they serve, that they would give the shirt off their own back if they could. This selfless mentality and dedication to the work our employees perform on a daily basis is inspiration and motivation for my own work. I’m proud to be a part of something that is so meaningful to our clients and our community.”
