Sound’s beautification project in action

Last Friday, in the rain and high humidity, a committed group of employees took time out of their busy schedules to beautify the old flower beds at the Shaw Street Program.

Yes, the outcome was beautiful, but the commitment and engagement from our employees to give when the call to action was requested are reflective of the amazing culture we have at Sound Community Services.

The definition of employee engagement is the emotional commitment the employees have to the organization and its goals. If this the case, then we have a lot of employees who care about their work and the agency.
