With the safety of our staff and clients as our top priority, we found ourselves having to pause in person meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coping with anxiety and social isolation during a time of uncertainty can be difficult but our Oasis program leader, Phil, was inspired during this time to find a creative outlet for his clients. Art can be used as an expressive tool to release our worries and thoughts – whether they be positive or negative. With this in mind, Phil created a mail-in art project. In addition to instructions, he included sample drawings and quotes to spark creativity. Phil gathered all of the submissions and created a book that now serves as a visual testament to how our staff and clients adapted in a time of social isolation. His clients enjoyed the project so much they have asked Phil to share more creative ideas. We hope you enjoy the unique drawings included in this book and we hope to share more quarantine art with you soon!
