Burgers & Mac N’ Cheese, Oh My!

Recently our AXS Center took some of their young adults out for a social outing to a AXS favorite restaurant, Hash House a Go Go at Mohegan Sun. For lunch, they enjoyed a mouthwatering Hickory Smoked Bacon, Avocado & Cheddar burgers to delicious Hash House Mac N’ Cheese!

The AXC Center, a part of Sound Community Services, provides tailored services to young adults with emotional, mental health and/or substance abuse use concerns. Their experiences may include foster care, group home settings, the juvenile justice system, or homelessness. It’s a place for young adults between the ages of 18-25, to be in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can reach their goals.
