Liz Czikowsky, Director of Integrated Care

Dr. Liz Czikowsky is a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in behavioral health. She holds a Doctorate in Psychiatric Nursing (DNP) and is certified as an Advanced Practice Addiction Nurse (CARN-AP), bringing an in-depth understanding of mental health and substance use disorders to her practice. Dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Liz has spent her career advocating for improved behavioral health services and advancing care integration in her community.

Her treatment expertise spans a wide range of psychiatric conditions, with a special focus on substance use, and she is committed to integrating patient-centered approaches to support individuals on their journey to recovery. Liz has been with Sound Community Services since February 2021 and her dedication has elevated her to her newest position as Director of Integrated Care. Liz’s commitment to lifelong learning is evident as she continues her education to expand her knowledge and ability to drive change at both the clinical and organizational levels.

Outside of her professional work, Liz enjoys staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She enjoys physical activity, travel, as well as making time to unwind with music. She cherishes spending quality time with her large family and friends, who are a source of strength and joy in her life.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Liz remains dedicated to improving mental health and substance use treatment, working to ensure that all individuals have access to the care they need to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.

I love to fish. I am not good at it, but I do enjoy it.
