Faye Spatafora, Director of Case Management

Faye joined Sound Community Services in April 2019 as the Program Coordinator of the Bent Crandall Program. Faye obtained her Bachelor of Art – Psychology from Northern Vermont University and has continued her education through training and submerging herself in the culture of those she is committed to supporting. Faye spent the beginning years of her career in Residential and Forensic Services in various roles and transitioned to Community based supports in 2022. Faye has committed her career to helping our community in need by providing resources and tools for independence and success.

Faye’s drive is to provide clarity and support to those around her, focusing on opportunities for our community. If there is a need, we will find the resource! Faye is always working on service improvements by reviewing the needs and evaluating how to deliver the best services possible. Faye believes in providing safe spaces for her Person Served to be who they are.

When not in the office, Faye enjoys time with her family as a mother and wife. Faye loves spending time outside and enjoys every season, especially the Autumn where you will see her next to a campfire with a warm cup of tea.

What quote best captures your personal philosophy?

“Progress not perfection” really relates to my philosophy. I practice the idea of continued growth, learning, and maintaining an open mind to be the best person I can be, not only for myself but for those around me.

What is something unexpected that most people don’t know about you?

I love cooking and baking. There is something relaxing about making something delicious from scratch. I love to push myself to replicate common snack foods or restaurant foods at home. I have been working on the ultimate chocolate chip cookie.

What do you most want clients of The SCSI to know about you?

There are few things that will stand in my way from achieving the best services and resources for our clients. I am ready to support my community to the best of my ability. I want SCSI to be their safe space to always turn to for support, guidance, and a place to be themselves. We have some amazing things happening at SCSI!
