Amy is a dynamic and energetic social worker who approaches every task with a smile and a can-do attitude, no matter the challenge! With her infectious positivity, Amy is all about creating an experience of support, compassion, and understanding for everyone she works with, from staff to the people she serves.

Since diving into the human services field from education in 2012, Amy has worn many hats in diverse settings—whether it’s in-home family support, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), college behavioral health services, or methadone maintenance, she’s done a lot! After earning her master’s in social work from Boston University, she joined the SCSI team, where she spent four years making an impact across multiple programs. After some time with other nonprofit organizations, Amy made her way back to SCSI in 2022 as Director of Outpatient Services, where she focused on creating a collaborative, supportive team that works seamlessly across all programs.

Now, as Senior Director of Clinical Services, Amy is on a mission to spread that same energy and teamwork across all program areas, driving process improvements, innovation, and excellence, especially in outpatient services, medication programs, housing, BHH, and CSP.

When Amy isn’t busy leading the charge at work, you can find her hanging out with her son, husband, and rescue pup, cruising along the shore, or savoring a piping hot cup of coffee.

What is something unexpected that most people don’t know about you?

I am quite athletic (and competitive 😊) and will beat most anyone in a free throw contest!

What do you most want clients of The SCSI to know about you?

I firmly stand by all people getting the chance to recover from mental health/substance use issues and believe that every person’s journey through and to recovery will be different.
