Opioid Addiction Education and Paths to Wellness

On September 16th the Opioid Action Team of South Eastern Connecticut invited the New London County recovery community to take part in an emotional event, providing education around opioid addiction and paths to wellness.

A dozen resilient members were on display through black and white artwork along with a self-reflection piece sharing their individual journeys. These stories are “living proof” that recovery can be achieved.

In this picture is one of our superstars, Liz, who was showcased. Liz is involved in multiple programs at SCSI and when you see her please acknowledge her accomplishment.
